Japan - late August?

We're looking at visiting Japan in late August for a couple of weeks. Will it still be horribly humid?

I was there mid Aug and I’d say most likely. I’ve never felt humidity like it. I think Sept is a better time tbh

I'm going in September and hope to miss the worst of the humidity
