Where would you go for a special NYE?

Can be somewhere in the UK or Europe. Not looking for alcohol parties. Would like to enjoy culture, scenery and do something to remember. Budget around £1000 for 3-4 nights (excluding spending money). Fly from Manchester or Liverpool. Would have loved to go to Rovaniemi Finland but just too much.
Any ideas gratefully received 🙏

Madeira is supposed to be great at New Years - amazing firework display in Funchal

We have family friends who go to Dubrovnik for New Years every year because there is a series of concerts held

If you want to go north, Stockholm might work. Or you could just go to a great hotel somewhere - I would highly recommend Storfjord Hotel near Alesund but you have to fly via Oslo.
