We have just returned from Domaine Des Ormes in Brittany and loved it! It was perfect for us and the kids loved the pools, adventure courses, pony rides for little one. Looking ahead to next year and trying to find another resort that ticks all the boxes. It must have:
Great swimming pools
Adventure courses/climbing walls/waters ports for teenagers
Options for one or two trips out
Not very hot! Just a bit warm is fine for us
Maximum of 2-3 hours driving from ferry port/eurotunnel if travelling via ferry
Maximum cost about 3k so looking at self catered, so decent supermarket nearby or on site
Can travel by plane/ferry or eurotunnel
Some entertainment on site
Restaurant/takeaway options for a couple of nights
Kids will be aged 5, 14 and 17.
We will be going mid July during the week leicestershire schools break up earlier than most of England.
