Hiya

I've not sterilised anything for DD - bottles etc have been adequately cleaned in our dishwasher at home.

However we're off to Egypt (Hurghada w/ Mark Warner - 5 star hotel apparently) - and I'm wondering how I'll manage the bottle situation there. She has 3 per day. I figure I should bring cold water steriliser kit to be on the safe side as I'm not sure I'll be able to wash the stuff well enough in our hotel room. Plus the warmer weather there, slightly dodgy water, what do you think??

I don't get a lot of baggage allowance so all space counts!!

Cheers & any other tidbits of advice re. Egypt holidays much appreciated...

If it was me, I'd take the cold water sterliser kit. Doesn't take much space does it? When dd/ds were small, we used to take a small tuperware box big enough for a couple of bottles which we packed with the tablets and socks etc! Marked the side of the tupperware with a bit of tape to show the water level. Took v. little room and gave piece of mind.
Enjoy!

Check with Mark Warner what facilities will be available. When we holidayed with them in Corsica, they had a kids' kichen with microwave, fridge for baby food and a microwave steriliser - or maybe two, it's been a while!
