Where is good to visit for 2-3 nights in Winter? We’ve already been to

Paris
Rome
Barcelona
Palma
Pisa
Florence
Monaco
Porto
Lisbon - booked already
New York
Boston

Was considering Venice or may be Valencia. Would like somewhere that still has life to it during the winter months so we don’t arrive to most places being closed.

Venice in nice at that time of year, much quieter and so more pleasant.

Haven’t done Valencia in winter but it is a lovely city, great food!

Do you want somewhere warmer than the UK or wintery?

Wintery:

Copenhagen
Amsterdam
Krakow
Budapest
Vienna
Turin
Lyon
Salzburg
Stockholm

Warmer:

Marrakech
Seville
Granada
Funchal
Malaga
Athens
Naples

Budapest is gorgeous and has all the hot spas to relax in. I went in January and it was snowing, the Danube was frozen and it was so pretty.

Malaga and Valencia are both nice in winter and we almost booked Seville for new year, but are doing a big trip instead.

Why not embrace winter and go somewhere properly cold like Stockholm or Reykjavik.

I like cold places for feb city breaks, I’ve enjoyed Prague, Stockholm, Budapest, Paris and Berlin at this time of the year (it’s my birthday).

I've been to Munich in January and loved it.

Tours and attractions all open and operating, with the exception of a couple of beer gardens (but some others were open).

Don’t go anywhere cold. Cancelled flights due to weather etc. You want the promise of Spring surely? A pause in the cold, greyness is always good.
I ‘d go to a city and enjoy sale shopping. I got amazing bargains in Rome a few years back.
Seville will have warmer weather.
