I've just booked a holiday for October half term, we'll miss a couple of days of the new term but due to dh work, that's unavoidable and we can't go during the summer months.
I'm having second thoughts now! Have booked 10 days. 3dc, 18/13/2. Will it be warm enough to actually feel like a sunny holiday?!
Should I do a week instead? It's a resort with lots of pools, and I can't find info on whether they're heated or not. 2nd dc is autistic and obsessed with the water, he will be in there all day. 2 year old has never been on hols before.
I'm stressing!

Latest I've been to that part of Turkey is first week of October. Was hot in the daytime but starting to get chilly at night.

Turkey is usually warm in October, low to mid 20s most days although cooler at night. We find it a really pleasant temperature.

Which resort are you going to? Someone on here may have been in half term before and be able to say about the pools etc.

we went in October half term last year and the day time was warm in the sun. Pools were unheated (I think that’s pretty typical for Turkey) but the kids were fine once they were in and used to it. The sea was nice. You needed a layer in the evenings. Overall it was lovely. We went for 4 days and it was fine

We’ve been for the first two weeks of October. Overall it was lovely and warm but we did have two days that were a write off due to a spectacular thunder storm. The waiters were literally sweeping water out of the restaurant.

It should be lovely and warm during the day. I went last oct half term & it was 22-25 every day. Evenings are noticeably cool though.

Thabks for the replies!
Crystal Sunset Luxury Resort and Spa is the name of the hotel. 27th Oct til 6th Nov. I was thinking of changing it to a week, but I don't mind wearing a cardi in the evenings!

We went to turkey last October half term and the weather was lovely.
However, you will need a heated pool the unheated pool was ice cold.

End of October -November can be rainy, it's quite late to get load of sunshine but you might be lucky. Pools will be Baltic but sea will be warm en

Posted too soon. Warm enough to swim.

It'll be hotter than the UK that's for sure.
