3 mums want luxury night off

where would you recommend for we 3 friends who want to go away for a night without babies as DHs and grannies are taking over. YAY. we want somewhere with a great spa and good food and no more than 2 hours from london.. any suggestions? I would be grateful! lucy

I've just booked a night here at the Grosvenor in Chester

it's lovely as is Chester and there is a very nice spa. They have a couple of special offers on if you look at the website.

It's about 21/2 hours from London though,usually on a direct train.
