manhattan beach marriott- anyone know what it's like?

if i agree we will be staying there for a month or so as dh working in LA.
No-one seems to have a good word to say about LA and i'm getting cold feet!

ps the name of the place is Marriott Residence Inn, Sepulveda Blvd

FWIW we have friends who live in Manhattan Beach, about 3 blocks from the sea; they have lived there for years and years and years and they love it (mind you they travel a lot )

If you drive you will find getting around much easier.
