Luggage allowance for babies on Jet2?

We are travelling to Greece on Jet2 (flight only, not package) and are a bit confused about the luggage allowance for our baby as a lap infant. The info says:

"Although infants don’t have their own baggage allowance, if you’ve added a 22kg hold bag to your booking, we’ll automatically increase your allowance by an extra 10kg, free of charge."

We have each added a 22kg suitcase. Does this mean the baby stuff has to be under 10kg or if one of our bags is only 18kg would the baby be able to have 14 kg? We are hoping to take a travel cot and car seat and those will definately be more than 10kg combined. We also have a Yoyo stroller but hopefully this will count as one of our 10kg hand luggage if one of us only takes a small bag for hund luggage. If anyone has travelled with a Yoyo on Jet2 were you allowed to take it on board?

Anyone have recent experiences of flying with a baby with Jet2?

As you are taking loads of extra luggage, I think you need to ask the airline! It’s hardly just a small bag extra! Cannot see how you get a cot into the luggage allowance!

Surely it means that you’ve got 32kg allowance for adult plus infant (plus whatever else you’ve booked for the other adult)

do you have to take a travel cot? Pretty much all hotels and villas will supply them

Thanks for the responses! I'll try to get hold of Jet2 directly. I'm not completely sure about taking the travel cot but we are staying in 4 different hotels/apartments so always a chance one is unsuitable. We recently went on holiday in the UK and the cot provided had a very hard and uneven base. Luckily we had ours in the car to use instead so just worried about something similar happening abroad. Both adults have a 22 kg bag added but not sure if we can pool the entire luggage allowance. The travel cot weighs around 7 kg.

If you've both paid for 22kgs then surely you get 54kgs in total? Generally they don't care how it's split if there's two of you travelling together so I can't see it will make a difference if you add a third person

Your allowance is 2 bags, one of 22kg and one of 34kg. You will need to speak to them about all the equipment you’re taking

I've done this and they let us combine. We took 2x20kg bags and then a travel cot plus stroller. They didn't weigh stroller but all in came to less than the combined allowance.

Most airlines also allow for x2 baby items for free. So car seat and travel cot will go for free as separate items
