How many days and nights are you staying?

You will need, per person:

  • one full clean outfit per day (jeans or other casual trousers, t-shirt, sweater)
  • one set of underwear per day (socks, pants, vest/bra)
  • nightwear
  • a very warm waterproof coat with a hood
  • gloves, hat, scarf

It is freezing here in Paris

Marne-la-Vallée is generally 1 or 2 degrees colder than central Paris, and it's windier, too .

Of course it could be a balmy spring day by the end of the week, but it has been very cold of late. I'd take warm clothes if I were you, just in case.

Taverna degli Amici on rue du Bac (between the Seine and boulevard Saint-Germain) - proper Italian, wooden tables, very family friendly.

Where is your hotel? So I can be more specific.

hermykne · 18/02/2008 19:57

staying on rue bonaparte.

Anna8888 · 19/02/2008 07:30

Great, then Tavera degli Amici is within striking distance .

We take our daughter (3.3) all over the place in that area - Armani Caffé and Café de Flore (boulevard Saint-Germain), the Cojean sandwich bar in the basement of Le Bon Marché, le Cherche-Midi restaurant in rue du Cherche-Midi. What kind of food do you and your children like?

hermykne · 19/02/2008 19:35

oh they like noodles/italian

i have been in the cherche midi restaurant.
bon marche is my fav shop, didnt know aboutthe cafe, thanks.

Anna8888 · 19/02/2008 21:23

I went shopping in Le Bon Marché this afternoon and we had lunch at Cojean.

Do you know BonTon (children's clothes) on rue du Bac/rue de Grenelle? My favourite children's clothes shop...

hermykne · 04/03/2008 17:09

my husband will shudder if he sees me entering that shop!
have you any other kids eateries to hand or good things....
many thanks
