Martinhal Sagres... but cheaper!

Martinhal fits what I'm looking for but is a bit pricey! Does anyone have any recommendations for similar resorts within Europe (doesn't have to be Portugal). Ideally close to the beach and where we have our own space. I like the look of the Martinhal complex as there looks to be large grounds in which our very explorative 18 month old could run around instead of being in a built up hotel complex.

Check out sun gardens in Dubrovnik. It has steps so maybe not what you want but worth a look.
