Hi, we’re looking to go away in the last week of may. It seems quite pricey for some reason though.. we have 2 young kids and are looking for somewhere warm and kid friendly. Flying from Edinburgh/Glasgow/Manchester.

We don’t have huge flexibility but thought it would be cheaper then, but it doesn’t seem to be?! We would like AI, nice hotel. Any tips?

I’m going to Kos, day before school breaks up, think it was about £1500 for 3 of us including a free child’s place

Do you mean may 20th

Week after 27th may is bank holiday / half term

Last week of may it's a school half term holiday. That's why it's so pricey. Around here we break off on the 26th. If you can juggle the dates at all, it should help with the price.

It's because that's around school holiday times. Prices always go up then unfortunately.

Oh is it? We’re in Scotland and it’s a long weekend but I didn’t realise it was a longer break elsewhere 🙈

Were a bit stuck with the dates because my husband starts a new job in June and I’m actually a teacher but I have a couple of days in leiu to use!
