Holiday with 1 year old

I'm hoping to go away in June abroad somewhere. Baby will be 1 exactly at the time.
Any ideas of where would be a good place? I know you can go anywhere but ideas of places that are more child friendly?
We'll be leaving from manchester so don't want a very long flight. No idea how the baby will be on a flight.

We went to Mallorca at that age and it was lovely. Stayed in a child friendly agroturismo in a small cottage.

At 18 months we went to Spain - again a small child friendly place with lots to entertain a toddler.

With two children (8 months and 4) we went to France. Ile de re was the best place we visited. Stayed in a lovely lodge on a smart campsite. Perfect. Simple pleasures of the beach, pool, playground and eating all our meals outside on the deck.

We've been on two holidays with baby so far and of the two I have to say I recommend Portugal 100%. The flight wasn't long and everyone just seemed to looooove babies there x

Oh thank you. These both seem like great options! We had Portugal in mind but hadn't thought of Mallorca.
