Transport from Budapest airport

I'm looking at travelling from Budapest airport to Buda - 4 and 2 people arriving separately and 6 all travelling back to the airport together. Has anyone done this recently ?

Would you advice a taxi from the airport (not booked)

The bus

Depends on budget, when DH and I went we got a taxi and it was the easiest option, when DD and her boyfriend went they got the bus and said it was cheap and easy but took quite a while.

Thankyou. Taxi didn't seem too expensive on a review site £28 ish - however it is metered - not a fixed price like some other cities. Did you pre book a taxi or just wait in line at the airport? Thanks

I seem to remember something called a Budabus. It was a pre-booked minibus which collected people from the airport dropping them at their hotels.
