Beach hotels Sardinia

Hi everyone. We’re looking to visit Sardinia this summer for about 10 days. We went to a lovely beach resort in Crete a few years ago and looking for similar but all seems to be ££££!

Are we hoping for too much? Would it be best to hire a car and drive to a beach instead (we’re not confident drivers).

we have booked Sardinia for 10 days this year (after seeing a recommendation on here). We are going to Hotel Marinedda Thalasso, but the recommendation was for (I think sister hotel) Cala Di Falco. We got a package with transfers included and you can walk
to the town for cafes and tavernas so we won’t hire a car. Hope that helps?
