I have been to Corfu in early May several times. A free T-shirts/shirts and a few normal uk outfits. It will rain but you will also have a few days where it's T shirt weather. My kids were very brave and swam 2-3 days while we were there but only lasted 15-20 minutes at a times as it was freezing cold water.

Depending on how warm it may be you might want to pack some gnat/mosquito stuff as there are a lot on the island.

Is it a heated pool?

You will need jackets / jumpers for the evenings.

Do you think long sleeve and jeans for day time?
Or shorts and t shirt for kids?

I have only been to Corfu once in my life - it was the Easter holidays and it snowed.

We ended up buying knitwear and socks from a local market.

I went to Corfu in early May one year. I wasn’t really prepared and when we arrived it was colder and rainier than London. The bad weather lifted on our penultimate day there. Had fun anyway but had hoped for a bit more warmth! Maybe pack for every eventuality?

The water will be ice cold, and it's often rainy in Corfu in April BUT it's beautiful and the food will be delicious.

I would take stuff for all weather. Maybe not snow Grin

Keep your eye on the BBC weather app, it's usually spot on.

Marchforward · 16/03/2023 20:18

Google tells me highs of 20c and lows of 10c. Corfu fairly northern and tends to be colder. If the pool isn’t heated it will be absolutely freezing.

RampantIvy · 17/03/2023 08:28

Warm clothes with some shorts and T-shirts if you are lucky with the weather. The evenings will be chilly.

RHOShitVille · 17/03/2023 08:50

Wetsuit for the kids if they want to swim, it won't be warm. We used to go in mid May and DD swam in wetsuit on colder days. Raincoats, as it may rain, and when it does, it really comes down. Definitely warm jumpers for the evening.

You may be lucky but it's very early to be going to northern Greece. Friends went to Greece.. further south last April.. paid for a swim up room and it was ice so couldn't use it. Hopefully you will have a heated pool. Pack for cool evenings.

We went to Ikos Dassia last April amd the weather was amazing ! Proper sunbathing weather ( for me that's anything above 20 !!) . Going again this year , hoping for similar.

Moveforward · 17/03/2023 23:37

We are off to Corfu in April too - planning on walking reading drawing, eating and drinking!

Hubby will pack the wetsuit if we have the room left.

Am expecting a freezing pool as they are coming out of winter and ours isn't heated. Sea, well, it'll be cold but we have sea swimming mates and they sat just do it...so never say never.

20DigitCombination · 18/03/2023 02:32

Unless the pool is heated, it will be too cold to swim in. You might be able to paddle in the sea though. Take layers and expect weather to be variable.
