Malta in Feb

Thinking of taking DD (10) for a minibreak during Feb half term. Any views on best location? Was thinking Valetta or Sliema as won't be a beach type holiday but will be on a budget so perhaps elsewhere is better value. Essentially, don't want to be stuck in a holiday resort during winter!

Valletta is lovely lots of interesting buildings to go in and take the bus to Mdina amazing walled medieval town

if you go to valletta do the 3 bays boat trip (I think thats the right name). it was the best bit of our holiday.

We stayed in Melleiha which has the big, man made beach, and did a bus trip into Valetta as well as a boat trip to Comino for snorkelling in the Blue Lagoon.
