Orlando for a week with an 18mo?

We're looking at going to Orlando this year - we want to do a long haul holiday as our daughter will be free (she will be around 18 months ish when we're looking at going)

We only want to visit two of the parks (maybe three parks tops but unsure if we want to do the third one), so we're confident about fitting everything we want to do into the week, but I wondered what everyone's experience/opinions were on the time difference and jet lag on a toddler if we only go for a week.

She's flown before so feeling as comfortable as I can be about the flight but I don't want to completely mess up her sleep for weeks or months as that's obviously unfair on her.

Do you think a week is enough time to acclimatise or would 10 days/2 weeks be better?

FWIW her sleep is up and down anyway. She goes through phases where she sleeps well and will sleep for 10-11 hours straight but then will go through a phase where she wakes up 3/4 times a night even though there's been no change to her routine.

Thanks for any thoughts or advice!

I've flown to Orlando a few times with DS as his DGF lives there.
Even without racing around the parks I wouldn’t say a week is long enough tbh. By the time you recover it would be time to come home. I also have a poor sleeper. Stayed awake the whole way home on a night flight once, it was hell.

18 months is too young to enjoy Disney it’s aimed at age 5 and up really.

@Yourearealboy thanks, I've been twice but years ago so maybe I'm remembering it with rose tinted glasses and don't remember how tiring it was!

@Onnabugeisha we're more going because me and my husband want to go 😆i know there will still be loads of stuff she'll enjoy, going in the pool, seeing the parades, playgrounds, splash pools, open air movie night at the hotel etc
