Anyone have tips for good places to stay with young children? We are going in May. Thinking about Finale Ligure, Alassio or Noli but open to anywhere! Just want to be within about 90-120 mins drive from Genoa airport. We want somewhere with a nice beach, good food and a little bit of a buzz but don't need to be anywhere with nightclubs etc. Thanks!

www.residenceoliveto.it/en/home We've stayed here a couple of times. The beach is nice, there's a weekly market on the seafront and a fair few restaurants. There's also a water park in Ceriale. We did days trips up and down the coast - Loano is very nice. The coast the other side of Genoa is much prettier. Camogli, Lavagno, Ste Margherita, Sestri Levante, the Cinque Terre etc. We spent a week in Sestri last September at Hotel Vis a Vis and used it as a base for trips up and down the coast. We never bothered with a car - the train runs up and down the entire coast. hotelvisavis.com/en/

I get nostalgic about the part with Limone, Cuneo, Ventimiglia, Sanremo, etc, because of the visits we made while staying in Nice.
