I am pregnant with my thrid baby and am due end of July. I want to go away for a week in May (not school holiday time) but won't be able to fly. I live 5 minutes from the new Eurostar terminal so one thought I had was taking that too France maybe? But I am open to any suggestions!

There will be four of us: me, dh and two ds aged almost 7 and almost 4. We must have somewhere that we don't need a car. Also, must have swimming of some sort available. Other than that, I don't mind!

I just desperately want a relaxing break so please help!

Eurodisney? Won't be realxing but maybe dh could let you chill out while he hares round the park with LOs? Stay at one of the Disney hotels with a pool

Funnily enought we did Eurodisney with ds1 when I was about 6 months pregnant with ds2. Not an experience I want to repeat!

What sort of holiday do you want? A beach holiday or somewhere in the country might be hard to organise if you don't want to drive but a city break via Eurostar would be more feasible...

I am fairly flexible and open to suggestions. I am not so keen on a city break though - not too relaxing with kids.

Train travel on this site - as to were you go for a relaxing holiday in may - not sure, head to south of France or north Spain on the train

Hire a villa in Barcelona or area?

I was going to suggest the obvious, Paris, but you don't want a city.
As previous poster suggested have a look at the seat61 site. It is brilliant. Bruges is easy to get to from Paris. If you don't mind an overnight journey then that pretty much opens up the whole of Europe!
If you did want something theme parky, De Efteling in Holland is amazing. I loved it as a child but it is supposed to be even better now and very different to Disney. I'm sure other mumsnetters have been there more recently than me and can tell you what it's like. And Holland is a very easy place to drive to from here. There may be a Centreparcs type place nearby with a pool.
