Hi.
Im not sure if this belongs in the travel section but will post here for now.
I am going to France for two weeks in June 2023 - travelling by ferry to Roscoff.
We are doing 5 nights on Ile de Re and finishing with 7 nights on a campsite in the Vendee.
Wondering if people who are more versed on French wines than I could recommend some wines to be looking out for - both to consume whilst there and to bring home.
We are Sauvignon Blanc fans but
I’m really a novice when it comes to French wines.
The one French wine whose name I can remember that I really like is one called Eric Louis Menetou Salon.
We would also be fans of New Zealand Marlborough’s (Oyster Bay etc) and some Chilean ones (Isla Negra for example).
Anyone able to recommend any specific French sauvignons that might be worth a shout?
TIA
