.. has anyone ever got a refund on a non-refundable flight?? I am so annoyed with myself, I booked a long weekend away to Marrakesh a few weeks ago for early march and did loads of research on flights etc to get what I thought was the best deal on expedia. Anyway, for some stupid reason I just had another look and now a thompson flight is coming up for £150 less (per couple) and flies direct from Mcr (we are changing in london on BA) and also with the Thompson flight times we arrive early AM and leave evening so would get nearly two full days longer.

Seriously annoyed! I am assuming "flights are non-refundable" means just that?!

Sorry, but I don't think you have a chance - people like Ryanair and EasyJet absolutely mean it when they say non-refundable. It's probably worth a shot but I would be amazed if they give you a refund

Thanks Hassled, it is British Airways but through expedia so I am not sure, I might give them a call, give them a sob story or something!
