Just a warning about another greedy company!
Like so may others, we fell victim to the Covid travel restrictions and could not get to our booked accommodation in July 2021. We knew this was a possibility, but we were pressurised into paying the full amount of £4,917.84, or else lose the deposit of £1,720.
We were assured we could use this credit anywhere that Oliver’s Travels had on their books and then gave them ample time to find us something similar for 2022. After months of being fobbed off and passed around various customer service advisors, they could not find anything suitable for 2022 or even 2023! Finally we had enough of their antics and requested a refund, only to be told the booking is non-refundable and that is their “final position”.
They have told us they do not hold our money and yet can offer us accommodation anywhere else on their system and pay our money to that owner.
They attempt to hide behind unreasonable terms and conditions, so our next step is legal action against them and MasterCard, as this company needs to be exposed publicly. You may see this review in many places from now on!
They have our money, they cannot provide the service we require and have no legal right to keep it.
We have been left without a holiday, disappointed children, £5000 poorer and a belly full of frustration.
If you were up a creek, Oliver’s Travels would say you weren’t entitled to the paddle you already paid for!
Please AVOID this company, but also WARN YOUR FRIENDS about them too.
