Center parcs for New Year

Has anyone been to center parcs over new year’s eve? Is it worth the money at that time?

And which CPs is better with a toddler and baby - Longleat or Woburn?

thank you

Woburn has the newest and best facilities and the largest swimming complex - there’s even a large baby/toddler pool with slides - but I was a little disappointed by the size of the play areas at Woburn - the soft play area set inside The Plaza was tiny and not nearly big enough to accommodate more than 3 / 4 families of children at one time!
Woburn is smaller and therefore easier to walk between venues - If we went for a long swim, it didn’t matter that DS was tired as it was minutes back to the lodge, easy to get to activities without a big rush etc. It made for a very easy going break, whereas at Longleat if your villa is a long way out you need to put a fair bit of thought into getting about as you can’t just “pop back”. However it doesn’t feel as if you’re in the woods like at other parks.

We’ve been to longleat a few times with DTs from when they were 1 to just over 2. I like how spread out it is but that is making it harder as DTs get older and want to walk everywhere. The pool has a sep baby pool with slides and other play stuff.

We’ve booked Woburn for Nov, purely because DTs will be able to walk between the lodge and activities.

I prefer Elveden for little ones as it's flat and their pool area is better. Plus they have better playgrounds than Woburn.
