Taking a disabled child long haul?

I am planning on taking my disabled child, mobile, Ld, on a long haul holiday next year. I'm a lone parent. I think they will cope with it. I am considering a road trip holiday with them. There is absolutely nothing on the internet about taking a child with such circumstances to the country in question. I have saved up for a good few years. Am I crazy to do this?

We took our wheelchair using son to Florida, happy to answer any questions you might have. Basically plan and research everything!

Where are you thinking of travelling to and at what time of year?. How long is this proposed road trip and do you have a route in mind?.

Is Ld short for learning difficulties?.

Have you taken the child on a short haul trip before? I’d start with that first to see how it goes.
