Barcelona in December

Has anyone been in Barcelona just after Christmas? What is it like? What activities do you recommend?

Not quite but we did go late January once and it was lovely. Sunny and pleasant enough to sit out (with a coat on). Did all the usual touristy things, galleries, park guell, sagrada familia. Much preferred it to summer.

I went in January once - sunny and warm but not enough to be pool or beach weather. Very pleasant for walking around though.
