I'm married. Trying to book our summer holiday (for myself and DH) at the moment but I feel he's reluctant to book and go anywhere.
I feel like I need to get away.

So, if you were in your early 40's with no children, where would you go for a holiday on your own. Thinking relaxing but semi active with good food.

There are quite a lot of yoga/Pilates/wellness retreats if anything like that appeals? Usually with food included. They are mostly in term time

Oh good thought! A yoga holiday could be cool.

I've been to menorca on my own. Was nice. Hopped on a bus to the main port and did a lovely boat trip. Nice places to eat and people watch.

I'm interested too. But not Yoga, sorry OP, but I do love food and mooching around cities, relaxing with a drink, people watching etc.
