Heathrow terminal 5 pick up

What is the easiest way to pick up at terminal 5 taking costs into account? Just looked at booking the short stay nearby for an hour and it's £73.50!

Pick up from the long stay car park

If you stay for under 5 mins you don't get charged

They just need to take the free shuttle from the terminal

Just drive jn to the short stay car park and pay on exit. I went last Saturday and it was £5 something for 20 mins.

There’s a drop off/pick up spot which is £5 for 10 min or so. Park up nearby, outside airport, and get them to text when they’re there.

Wickywickyyow did you pay by phone or cash at machine?

I saw the drop off, but it says you can use it for pick up.

Much easier if we can pick up closeby as DD will be arriving with two heavy suitcases, which she'll struggle with on her own.

Thank you so much. I had a real shock when I found out it'd be £73.50. Last time we drove to terminal 5 we had an horrendous journey, so don't want any stresses when we get there.
