Heading to Amsterdam this weekend with friends who have a dd similar aged to my 5yo dd - any recommendations on what we can do? It's looking to be a scorcher so any suggestions indoors welcome!

Definitely aim to spend a lot of time at Nemo. There’s a water feature on the roof which kids are encouraged to splash about in so have your swim stuff handy for them. There’s also a splash park in Vondelpark surrounded by grassy fields and shady trees. It’s got a set of toilets right next to the pool and the café and playground are just a short stroll away. Alternatively there’s another paddling pool in Oosterpark.
The Mouse Mansion is fun for a quick visit.
This Is Holland is brilliant, but minimum height to ride is 1m. It’s quite expensive but we thought it was worth it.
Blue Boat have a kids canal cruise which really engaged my dc. They loved the activity book and pirate binoculars!
The best places to eat with kids are the Carousel Pancake House and Happy Pig Pancake Shop.

Thanks for all the suggestions @Fivemoreminutes1 these are great! NEMO sounds perfect given its meant to be so hot this weekend and we were thinking of a canal cruise so will check that one out!
