Nice restaurant near Gatwick

Any recommendations for a nice, preferably independent, restaurant within 20mins drive of Gatwick for tonight?

We approach Gatwick from the M25 anti-clockwise and stop off en route at The Pheasant at Buckland. It’s not very formal, so we don’t feel out of place in the clothes we’re travelling in. Have also eaten at Gravetye Manor when we stayed there and it was lovely, but a dressy place.
