DD 13 and I are off to Durrinell in summer, i mainly want to use it as a base to explore the Netherlands, with day trips to Amsterdam, Delft, The Hague etc. It also looks like there are good cycling routes, including cycling to Voorschoten to get the train. Has anyone done a lot of cycling in this area? Is it safe? I have visions of the incredible Dutch cycling infrastructure, but don’t know how real it is. We’re competent but not massively experienced. It would be lovely to use the car as little as possible and cycle round the area if possible.
