Where to get some sun in September?

Just that really. We're looking for a cheapish holiday, somewhere in Europe once the schools have gone back. It's just me and my DP. We both want somewhere where we can swim, sit in the sun but also like to enjoy the culture. DP is a bit of a history nerd. Currently thinking Malta although I haven't been there since I was a kid in the late 80s... where would you go?

Usually do Canaries in September. Have family in Malta though and know it's still nice there at that time. Happy holidays when the time comes

I also have family in Malta - which must mean we're related. That gene pool is paddling deep.😂

I would say Crete, Malta, kos, Rhodes, Marbella, although in all fairness I've been to Majorca and it's been lovely still- if you stay at illetas or Portals nous you are very handy for Palma on the bus - yet still have lovely coves etc- I love Palma! I like it more than Barcelona

The Algarve will still be lovely in September 😊
