Hi guys.
We are planning to stay in a campsite in the Vendee for 7 nights next summer (Le Pin Parasol or La Garangeoire).
We are also planning on staying in a villa for 5 nights at the start of the holiday (5 nights in villa first followed by the 7 nights in the campsite).
I am thinking somewhere in the Vendee or Charente Maritime (would love Annecy or the Dordogne but too far to drive really as we are going home from Roscoff).
I have seen a nice place on Ile De Re that I'm considering (although quite pricey) but wondering if anyone has any specific recommendations of towns or specific villas that they have stayed in in the past (apart from Ile de Re).
We have been to Ile de Re once before but other than that we're pretty "green" when it comes to France, so aren't really familiar with the wider area and where would be good to stay etc.
Have been looking at places like Saint Palais Sur Mer, Saint Georges Di Didonne but not really sure where is nice.
Our main requirement would be to have a private heated pool and be reasonably close to a town that has a bit of choice in terms of restaurants - beach isn't a necessity as the kids will be happy in the pool.
