Sailing course Europe

Hi there - I just wondered if anyone could recommend a sailing/watersports course in Europe for my husband and 16 year old. They wanted to learn something together, ideally in a place where the water is warm so falling in the sea is fun!

Thanks

Neilson is an obvious option - they do proper RYA courses for sailing and windsurfing, and there's paddle boarding and kayaking too, plus waterskiiing &wakeboarding. We did quite a few of those during our DDs secondary school years.

The last one we did was at their Croatian club, it was good, lots of kit and nice location. The Turkish ones we'd been to all closed unfortunately.

We've done Neilson a few times, but note if you go at the end of a season the kit is pretty knackered, and kit availability depends on the other people also on holiday.

More personal, less busy/ less holiday camp feel is this Lake Garda place, lovely people, English couple, sorted us an apartment nearby too. www.europaholidays.com/windsurf-sail-holiday-italy/

Falling into lake garda isn't quite as warm as the med but it's still lovely!

Wildwind in Vassiliki might work for them.
