Please help - I’ve think I’ve stupidly left it too late to get my booster - I am flying on July 12th but from what I’ve read I needed to have the booster 14 days before I fly?
I know you can fly unvaccinated bu having a pcr or a rapid antigen test but I’m not sure what to choose??
please reassure me??

It doesn’t need to be 14 days before you fly for your booster but there must be enough time for your booster proof to appear on your nhs record

This seems to variable between one to several days. You should be ok.

Thank you - I am going to the drop in clinic tomorrow to get the booster x

I’ve just been and paid tenner for an antigen test from home with simplytests. Don’t forget the Spanish heathform if your doing a test

Sammyj1971 · 27/06/2022 21:03

@Stressoutmum what’s the difference between the pcr or the antigen test please xx

Quite a difference in price. You only need the cheaper antigen (lateral flow).

Stressoutmum · 27/06/2022 21:22

@Sammyj1971 the pcr can be taken 72 hrs before antigen is taken less than 24 hrs. It’s cheaper. They send you a home test you log in online when your ready to test and it’s classed as supervised test. Then they send you your cert within 2 mins of a negative test

just a last question - I want to do a Pcr test for my son and noticed sone at home tests are supervised and sone are not - I’ve checked the gov website and it does not specifically say the test needs to be supervised - has anyone
foine to
spain with an unsupervised test ( quite a difference in price to supervised )

the Cert says supervised because you send them a photos of the lateral flow test before and after
