Morocco entry requirement for teenagers

Hi All, is someone able to help or advise I am due to take myself and my teen to Morocco at the end of July however the government website states 'To enter Morocco, passengers are required to have had three vaccine doses (or have had their second vaccine dose within the previous four months) , OR proof of a negative PCR test result, with the sample having been taken within 72 hours before boarding. Children under the age of 12 are exempt from these requirements. A single shot of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine counts as two doses' however teens are not offered a booster so techincally they are fully vaccinated and also it was well over 4 months ago the second vaccine was given. Am is still required to do the PCR test? It seems like a grey area for 13-17 year olds. If I have to do one obviously I will but I would rather not spend £100 if I don't have to and have the stress of if it will be back in time. Does anyone have any experience on this?

It reads to me like they will require a PCR to enter Morocco as they won't have had 3 doses. Other countries are giving boosters to that age group.

There's much cheaper pcrs available now. It reads like they do need one

Hey thank you for your reply, I didn’t realise other countries were giving children boosters so PCR test it is then.

Thanks for your reply, I will have a look into the PCR tests. We travel on a Monday so I hope the processing labs are open Sundays!

You have 72 hours for a PCR so it could be before Sunday

12 to 18 yr olds need proof of 2 doses which they would have been offered so no need for pcr

That's not what the entry requirements for Morocca say though. They say a 3rd does is needed if the 2nd dose was more than 4 months ago, which the OP says is the situation.

Thank you all for your responses it is nice to have other peoples views. I think a PCR it is and I will look one up.
