Flamingo land or Lightwater valley

Due to go to London at the end of the month and we're thinking of visiting either Flamingo land or Lightwatervalley on the way down from Scotland. Reviews on TripAdvisor are really a mixed bag for both theme parks. Has anyone been recently that can suggest whether one is better than the other? Kids are aged 6 and 4. We have already done cbeebies land and are going to Blackpool later on in the year. Any guidance would be much appreciated!

I haven't been to either so would be interested in hearing opinions.

There are a few in / around London but the best one I've been to with my DC is Paultons Park. A bit of a way from London but if you can get there, it's definitely worth a day trip

We went to flamingo land in October with a 3 year old and a 6 year old. We had a great time. Staff were friendly, the vast majority of rides were open and tall ds (the eldest) was big enough for most rides.

Flamingoland is hands down the best for this age. Has a mini-zoo as well as rides. Loved the giraffes and flamingoes.
