Apologies for the multiple threads from me today.

Can anyone recommend a company that organises bespoke trips to India (for a family not a group trip). Probably the Golden Triangle although open to other ideas.

Thank you.

Audley Travel or Cox and Kings. Watch the latter as they book nice hotels but not the best rooms!

Greaves and Abercrombie and Kent for high end holidays.

Look out Wild Frontiers. Exodus and Explore also do tailor made family itineraries and can do higher end.

Try this, they are really good.
We haven't used it but know others have, oberoi group of hotels are good hotels

Steppes Travel were great for us

ginslinger · 29/05/2022 20:30

I used Selective Asia which concentrates on SE Asia and do very personalised stuff and come in around the Audley and Abercrombie and Kent price bracket but with much more personalised service

Have a look at responsible travel website. They offer loads of tours in India which you can tailor make to your requirements. We went on one of their tours many years ago - a Kerala home stay trip, and it was probably the best holiday I have been on.

@ginslinger
We have always had a personalised service from Audley on a bespoke tour. I’m not sure how another company can do more? Everything is arranged for you. If that’s what you want.

Leela, Oberoi, Taj and ITC are all very reliable hotel groups. However when in India you really must stay at one of the Heritage property hotels. These include palaces, merchants houses and even forts. They are a wonderful way to look at amazing buildings in India and be very well looked after.

We used stubborn mule. I'd highly recommend!

Thanks, everybody- I'm googling all your suggestions.
