Anyone booked with On the Beach recently?

Hello,

I booked a holiday online on Sunday and I still haven’t received confirmation from them.

I called them yesterday and when I had to choose an option on the keypad it didn’t work so I gave up (they charge 13p a minute).

I just called and the keypad worked but got message saying their offices are closed now.

I know they say they’ll get back in 48 hours, but the holiday is for next Monday and I’ve read that sometimes by the time they confirm the holiday, the flight price has gone up.

I don’t know how long I should give them. I could be booking with someone else.

Has anyone had to wait the full 48 hours?

Booked Sunday at about 2pm and heard nothing!

Did notice that the deposit was "pending" on my credit card but has now disappeared

We traveled with then about 8 years ago with no bother but after reading recent reviews am massively regretting it

when I paid, the amount was £0, no deposit for my trip…
the weird thing is that if I go to my booking and see if I could make amends/cancel, nothing happens, cannot get into the booking.
so I feel a bit trapped
ill try and remain calm. It seems like they’re very busy.
when are you flying?

We don't fly until early July so I guess that's something at least, but have read lots of stories about OTB suddenly hiking up prices before formally confirming the booking!

i managed to get through on the phone, but after being on hold for 6 minutes, the line got cut off.

Just got my confirmation email!
No mention of increased cost so hopefully it's all fine.

Yes we had the booking confirmation and deposit taken within 24 hours,we have used them every time we go away.

just got mine too!, also no mention of price change.

Yes we did although we booked via the phone (took about 35 mins to get through) as the website was being an arse and kept crashing.

We had confirmation that same day purely because the guy on the phone sent it while we were chatting.
