Any recommendations? Our kids will be 4 and just 2 by the time we plan to go

good food is very important to us but also quiet, refined with a nice warm pool and nice beach for the kids

Sani resort is lovely. We went there three years in a row when DC were little. Everything was geared towards little ones and me the holidays easy and stress free. Quality of food was top notch, childcare excellent, nice clientele and I loved the option of having both beach and pools for easy access.

Anywhere that accepts 2 and 4 year olds will not be quiet and refined. It will be full of other parents and small children.

Yes small kids make noise but Sani doesn't seem to attract the type who wear football tops and sit by the pool boozing all day. I guess that's what the OP meant?

Each time we've been there the hotel has been fully booked yet we had a beach to ourselves most days (There's few beaches to choose from). Was so relaxing and lovely. Beaches are also blue flag so pristine and safe for the little ones to paddle in.

Our DC are now too old for Sani and just as well as August cost arm and leg there. It's much better priced if you can go at term time. I believe Ikos is the same.

We're going here in July https://www.pargabeachresort.gr - our children are older (9 and 11) but it looks lovely - worth a look? I can't wait Smile

Sani, Ikos, Amirandes, all amazing

gracedentssketty · 11/05/2022 08:26

Thanks all - yes, I’m not expecting it to be quiet in that sense - our kids are noisy so great to have others to drown out the sound!

the poster referring to not sitting around in football tips downing booze all day hit the nail on the head!

sani halkidiki looks nice online. We went to Zafiro in Mallorca last October but it wasn’t great - pool absolutely freezing so kids didn’t like being in it and food was pretty poor

we did domes of elounda in Crete in 2019 which was great so tempted to return but also like trying new places. Our eldest starts school sept 2023 so trying to get away this year and next to take advantage of the cheaper prices termtime

Sani was great when I went with my 18month old. It was very friendly and easy, Has anyone done the Sani resort with a teenager and if so which hotel?
