Decent price for this holiday or wait?

I've been looking at holidays for next year and found an AI package to a Greek Island for us and our 2 kids, price is coming in at 2.6k for 7 nights flying from our local airport, this includes a free child place. I've not done a package holiday for a long time and never been on an AI before either, does this sound like a good price?

Also, is it still a bit early to be booking? Do prices tend to come down later on in the year or is now the best time to book for next summer price-wise? Thanks!

Sorry, meant to say it's at the end of June 2023! Blush

I'd recommend booking when the price is acceptable to you. If you are in Scotland it's probably a good price, if it's in term time e.g England, you might get it a bit cheaper. July is normally the cheapest time to book for June but nothing is normal at the moment in the world of travel so who knows?

I’d book now, that sounds a decent price. Book now but then don’t recheck the prices later on.

Thank you both for your replies, I'm in Scotland so the kids will have just finished up for the summer hols. Will have a chat with DH tonight (he's a bit scared of the idea of AI - all the noise and busyness) and if he's on board will go ahead and book.
