12 year old covid pass?

How do I get a covid certificate for my 12 year old to show he’s double jabbed? On the NHS site I can log in as me but obviously that only shows my records. Can I add him to mine somehow?

Answering my own question - use a different email address and set up an NHS account for him?

I got covid pass letters for all of us from my NHS login.

Yes. This is what I've done for my dds. I needed to contact my doctors and fill in a proxy form for each of them, it's not really clear why, but sorting the account was easy after I'd done that ( didn't try before I'd done it...).

I was told by my doctors this week when I asked this. that people age 12-16 could not have an online medical nhs account 'for data protection reasons' and could not be linked to mine. Is this wrong then?

Phone 119 and ask for a paper copy . I did this last Tuesday and it arrived yesterday . You can also do this via the NHS website . It helps if you have his/her NHS number .

Ok thanks all. Will investigate these options!

Yes. Although it's a bit worrying that your doc told you that because when you go to the NHS website to make an account for your 13-15 year old the first thing it tells you to do is contact your doctor's surgery. I stopped at that point and contacted them (and I needed to fill in a proxy form. Don't know what that achieved, but they sent me a text a few days later to say they had authorised my proxy access request) and when I went to make them an account it worked and I could access their stuff (I needed to identify them using their passports, but that only took 24 hours).

Nope, I was able to register with another email address and get it for my 12 yo. They just can’t get it on the app for some reason.

Thank you for this post! We travel on Friday & I thought DD could just get the app. You can log into the NHS website for a teen and verify ID by scanning face and passport. Verification came back in 5 mins & we've printed travel pass showing vaccinations.

The app takes up to 24hrs for a 13-15yr old. I speak from a tearful nail biting pre school trip incident this week.
Came though in 10hrs but 24 would have been after they left.

Yes this is what I did for 2 x 12 year olds. It’s all a bit confusing as under 13s can’t get the app but they CAN get the covid pass online by setting up an NHS account. Which I did for them and they just had to come and scan their faces and I had to upload copies of passports.
