Hot in April/May. Not Dubai.

We recently had to cancel our trip to Dubai. As not to drip feed, sister lives out there and we were going to stay with her but her and her OH have now spilt up so we have cancelled our flights.
We have the time booked off work and holiday request submitted to school.
1st week of May and I want somewhere the kids can swim? Any ideas? No longer than 5/6 hour flight from London.

Israel will be late 20s but v expensive.
Croatia mid 20s and middling expensive.
Greece mid 20s and cheap. If you go at the time of Orthodox Easter you can catch all the parades and ceremonies, everyone is happy and the mood is so lovely. Lots of good swimming and reasonable fmaily accommodation on the islands.

5-6 hour flight time limits you quite a bit. Oman was my first thought, but that's 7.5 hours from London. Sharm-el-Sheikh is 5 hours 25 mins. Cape Verde is just over 6 hours. Marrakech is 4 hours.

I was about to book Morocco , extensive research into everything 26 degrees April when we were going but now we can't go. Found an amazing prices hotel with water slides too

We've been before and DH not keen to go again. We didn't feel particularly safe when outside the resort 😬

I am drawn to Tenerife but looking only early 20's which I'm not sure is warm enough! X

Lanzarote is nicer than its reputation if you get a villa with a pool and have a car
