Morocco with 2 year old - any nice hotels/resorts?

Hello all,

Hoping to go to Morocco with our DS1 (nearly two) in February this year, and wondering if anyone had any recommendations for nice hotels or resorts? We'd like some beach time somewhere family friendly and either easy access to a town or a separate couple of days in a town - not necessarily Marrakesh though.

Also currently carrying Bump number two, so any tips on eating for pregnant ladies over there?

Thanks!

We went when I was pg. Had a great time and didn't book anywhere-just hired a car and drove around with a Lonely Planet. Masses of places to stay.

Loads of cats there, probably a good idea to stay away from salads (although i couldn't control myself)

It is a brilliant place. We absolutely loved it.

Thank you! Do you mind me asking - what time of year did you go? Don't know whether to book ahead or whether it's sufficiently out of season to just go and do what you did.

also, did you go to any nice beaches?

thanks

Went in May.It was already getting dangerously hot.

Marrakaesh, then out to the coast (can't remeber the name just now, main resort) then down to Ourzazate and edge of Sahara.Back up tp Marrakech.

Just buy a Lonely Planet and plan. To me that is half the fun.
