I hope everyone had a good Christmas and New Year. I was just after a little advice on St Lucia as myself and my partner were looking to get away there for our anniversary in February (Covid permitting obviously).
We have narrowed it down to three resorts:
- Marigot Beach Club (Marigot Bay)
- Bel Jou (Castories)
- Mystique Royal (Rodney Bay)
I was just wondering if anyone else had been to any of these resorts so might be able to offer any insight to add to our pros and cons list. From our own research we have determined that each has it's plus and minus points but generally as they are all roughly priced the same we are looking to use others experiences to help make up our minds.
We are both fairly active so would like to have a few things to do during the day such as water sports, exploring and day trips but also a few days lounging around on the beach would be nice. It would be useful to also know if 7 days would be enough or whether we should try to go for 10?
Also if anyone has any experiences of other Caribbean Islands and resorts that we should consider as we are trying to keep the costs low so we can go for a bit longer (max budget around £1,500pp) please feel free to comment and throw us some curveballs, or if anyone has any tips on how we might be able to do it a bit cheaper that would be great too.
