Dubai - JBR Area - Which Hotel With Kids

Hi guys.
Looking for some advice for a family member who is looking to go to Dubai for a week with his wife and two young kids (son is 3 and daughter is 5).
He wants to stay around the JBR area so that they have a good choice of restaurants etc within walking distance as well as the beach.
Anyone able to recommend a decent mid range hotel (essentially one that isn’t very expensive) in that area that would be good with kids that age?
They don’t need a kids club if that helps.

The Hilton hotel in that area is good and there are plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance.

We have stayed in Le Meridian Mina Seyahi 10 times now. It’s very child friendly and has just had a small water park built in its grounds.
