Airport Transfer - Toddler

Hi
We are hoping to book a holiday abroad in 2022 with our DS who will be 15 mo.
Quick question - how do airport transfers work? Are car seats provided?
Anyone with experience of this or tips please advise!

No car seats are provided as far as I know. If it is a coach transfer you strap them in as best you can or sit them on your knee.

I’ve researched this in the past and concluded that for transfers you don’t use car seats. There may or may not be belts.

The Alternative is to hire a car and take your own.

Or book a taxi transfer and either ask if they can provide one or take your own.

The families with little ones on our recent flight brought car seats for the coach, fine for the trip to the hotel but there were no seat belts for the trip back to the airport so toddler and baby were on the parents laps. Very well behaved btw, never heard any crying
