Any Ideas for a UK weekend break in Sping?

Will be about 30 weeks ish, so can't fly. Live in Midlands and MIL says she'll have DS for weekend so we can have some 'us time'.. Not sure if fancy City or country... Places we've ruled out (coz we've already been)..

both lovely - Stapleford have a lovely swimmingpool & spa (think I was over 30 weeks when we visited had lovely treatments)

Depending on where you are in the midlands they shouldn't be too hard to get to.

Wow they look fab... DH suggested York this morning, might look into it..
I really would like to have a hotel with pool and spa so DH can do what he wants (very low boredom threshold!) while I treat myself! Anything like that in York?

We are bordering on East Mids, so those hotels wouldn't be hard to get to at all, will show DH when he gets home...
