4 weeks in Europe with young kids

We are looking at taking advantage of shared parental leave and spending 4-6 weeks abroad next summer. Our kids will be 10 months, 3 and 6.
Very initial planning stages so exploring if we would do several countries or just work our way around 1 (probably francs or Italy). Happy to camp, or a chalet, b & b etc.
Has anyone done similar? Any tips?

With those age kids I'd probably find ourselves a really great base and not travel around too much at all. Driving and staying a couple of nights in different places would be super stressful (for me). I also don't think I'd fancy camping in the heat with a 10 month old (have done it with a not far off 2 year old though, France). B&B's can be hard work with little kids. Maybe a chalet somewhere like Le Tedey campsite in France. Gorgeous location!
