Can’t get QR code without seat number but can’t check in to get one without QR code?!

Am I being really stupid ? Two websites are sending me round in circles and neither can be contacted for help. It says the forms should take 5 minutes and I feel I’ve been struggling with them for several days
Does anyone know what I can do?? (Trying to get to Spain )

I had this last week with TUI and a return flight from Greece. Ended up using the seat number that I had been allocated on the outbound journey and that got me through the form. Can’t believe it’s actually cross checked against any database anyway? Agree that it’s a very frustrating process! Good luck

Thank you. It’s maddening I agree as wasted hours of frustrated trying! You did the right think I think as in the end I noticed our flight carrier said to put in 99L as the seat or something then edit it later but when I tried after getting the QR it can’t be edited- so there’s no way of putting a correct seat on. O certainly tried my best!

Same…. In the end we had to pre-book our seats (paid for) so we could get our seat numbers to complete the form!

I viewed the seats available, but weirdly couldn't yet book then.
So, i just put 7A,7B,7C on the passenger locator form.
As far as I'm aware there's no facility under the current system that cross checks. Which is just ridiculous when you think about it.
Flown twice recently to Ljubljana and Lisbon. Both times ridiculous and just a money making scheme.
